When I went to Siargao a couple of months ago, the strategy was to wing it - 'no reservations' ala Anthony Bourdain. But the motorcycle driver didn't seem to know which resorts to recommend so I had to rely on the little research notes I managed to jot down on my plane ticket print out (thanks to other bloggers!).

Doing research on Siargao resorts was quite a pain because of limited resources - and partly because I was cramming at the time. That's why I decided to create this Siargao Tourist Map series.
